Simone Biles
Simone Biles was an American gymnast born March 14, 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. She is considered by many to be one of the most outstanding gymnasts. The 2016 Olympics took place in Rio de Janeiro and Biles became the U.S.'s first female gymnast ever to be awarded four gold medals. Biles also took home the world championship for all-around three times consecutively (2013-15). Biles was raised at Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area following the time her and her sister Adria received adoption by parents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone began to take an interest in gymnastics as an infant in a school field trip at Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach throughout the following 11 years. Biles has won the gold and bronze medals in the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in floor and vault before making her debut in 2011 with the elite division of gymnastics competition. The following year, Biles dominated the sport. The thing that set Biles apart was the consistency of her fun-loving personality, as well as the level of difficulty she incorporated into her routines throughout the four events she competed in: vault uneven bars balance beam and floor exercises.
