Lis Wiehl (born on 19th August 1960) is a famous American author and an ex-legal analyst at Fox News.
She is adjunct professor of Law at New York Law School. Prior to that, she was an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Washington Law School. She was a legal commentator on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor as well as National Public Radio. She has appeared on weekly shows like The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File featuring Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs Tonight. the Imus morning programs and is the host of the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl is an Yakima native, who attended West Valley High School. She received her bachelor's degree from Barnard College, followed by an MA in literature from University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the past for The US Attorney. She also worked as a legal reporter on NPR's All Things Considered. She was the "deputy chief investigative attorney for Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's imposition. She was a tenured professor in legal studies at the University of Washington School of Law, Seattle from 1995-2001 as well as the director of an organization called the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl was an analyst for Fox News legal analyst from 2001 to 2017.
