Born from Rochester, New York, Sharp was a music enthusiast and studied clarinet, piano, and cello at the world-class Hochstein School of Music. The Boston Conservatory offered her an award for the school's theatre. Cum Laude graduated with a B.F.A. Sharp decided to pursue a career in theatre after graduating Cum Laude with a B.F.A. She appeared in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Sharp has also performed in Abyssinia and Aida in addition to Thunder Knockin, Jitney along with The Producers. She was even a read for August Wilson's Come and Gone. Sharp is engaged in several projects of her own which include screenplays and productions. In addition to singing, Sharp is working on an album. Sharp enjoys exercise. She stays fit by doing boxing, studying Krav Maga, and taking long roadtrips. Sharp resides in Los Angeles with family.
