Rosie Huntington

RosieQueen Latifah was born to Dana Elaine Owens in Newark, New Jersey, on March 18, 1970. Latifah was the second daughter born to Lance and Rita Owens. She is popular for her social activism, acting skills, and ability to rhyme. A Muslim cousin has given Latifah the name "delicate and sensitive" when she was just eight years old. Latifah began singing in the Shiloh Baptist Choir located in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Her first performance was when she sang "Home" in the role of Dorothy in the production of The Wizard of Oz at St. Anne's Parochial School. Latifah's mother was the catalyst; she was in touch with the children and music. Mark James, the local disc jockey, was contacted by Latifah to perform at the dance. Mark the 45 King, invited her to join a school dancing.
